

David Sciannella was born in
Lanham, Maryland and holds a BM from The Catholic University
of
America and a MM from The Eastman School
of Music. Dave has an
active freelance career in the Washington
- Baltimore – Northern
Virginia area. He
is Principal
Trombonist
of the National
Philharmonic
at Strathmore
Hall, Wolf Trap
Orchestra,
Lancaster
Symphony, and the
National Gallery
Orchestra
as well
as second trombone
in the Annapolis
Symphony. Dave
is also the
euphonium
soloist
and trombonist
with the WSB. He often
substitutes with
the Baltimore,
National,
and the Harrisburg
Symphony Orchestras.
Dave is Professor of Trombone at the George Washington University
and also owns
and operates a brass instrument repair shop. He lives in
Silver Spring with his two
daughters. In his free time Dave enjoys running and golf.
