


Scott Sabo is
an active performer in the Washington D.C. area. He currently
holds the positions
of Principal Trumpet
with the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and Annapolis Symphony
Orchestra, Second Trumpet with the Harrisburg Symphony
Orchestra and with the Washington Symphonic Brass. Mr. Sabo
has performed with the National Symphony, Baltimore
Symphony, Houston Symphony, Charleston Symphony and was part
of the pre-Broadway run of
West Side Story production at National Theater, Washington D.C.. Scott was also
a member of “The Presidents Own” Marine Band and “Pershing’s
Own” US Army Band, Ft. Myer, Va.
Mr. Sabo’s performances have taken him from the Cayman
Islands with the Brass Band of Battle Creek to Suzhou, China
with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra
on their 2010 New Year’s Eve celebration concerts. He has had the opportunity
to perform with Sir George Solti at Carnegie Hall, Christoph Eschenbach and
numerous performances and recordings with Leonard Slatkin.
Mr. Sabo received his Master of Music Degree from The Cleveland Institute of Music.
